I have bought a Microsoft Office 2003 from a firend and I asked him to uninstall (remove) it from his computer to be able to install it on my computer. Is it legal? if not, does it mean i lost my money?
Thanks in advance
Dear all, Is it legal to but a Microsoft Office from afriend?hijack this
Microsoft's EULA terms are so convoluted not even their own lawyers are sure what is legal and what is not. It all depends on the judge's interpretation of the agreement.
But it's morally right to run the program if your friend uninstalled it, so go ahead. You probably won't even get a hiccough when you activate.

Depends on how much u paid for and if you feel it is worth it.
You can resell your license to software. That's your right as a consumer.
As long as he uninstalls it from his PC, you're 100% legal and legit.
This is why vendors are legally able to resell OEM software that is marked as ''not for sale except with a system''. Those vendors bought the software from systems sellers who in turn sold off their systems to discount houses but without the OEM software licenses.
