How do I obtain another activation key for Microsoft Office.?

When I bought another computer and installed Office on it and used the same activation key it said that it was already in use. Is there anyway I can make it work, or do I have to buy another one? Thanks

You can only use Office on one PC at a time.

Either deactivate the old PC (email Microsoft and ask how), or buy a second version for your new PC, so that they both have Office on them.

When installing software such as an operating system you have to enter a key - the key is unique and is checked against your processor type and unique-id. If at any later stage you re-install the system should be able to recognise this and you won't be asked to send it again. Though if it does then you can call the softline stated on the setup procedures...there are a number of themes on the line and it will advise your next action.

If you install the same package on another system it is likely that the softline might lend a hand..though it should not be allowed you having the package run on both systems at the same time. One licence policy rule is in force.
