Not all computers have microsoft office, installed your fisr PC must have been a preinstall.

You can buy a version of office, or just to open a powerpoint file you can use an alternative free ofice pack like openoffice.org

Nope! Some use Linux and have Open Office. Windows is the OS and Office is a Suite of applications. PPT is one of the suite. When Office is installed, u can select to install all or select what u want. If u still have the original CD then reinstall using custom and make sure that the PPT application is selected (checked) and go 4 it.
no, some have a 90 day trial, but very few come with a full version, most pc's have microsoft works (thats an ironic statement), or word perfect
No it's add-on program

You need to buy.

Go to www.microsoft.com
Use OpenOffice it is free you can download it from http://download.openoffice.org/index.htm...
no its a add on
no, office pack needn't to be installed in your computer software when you buy it. try to download it or install it from a friend.
NOpe you have to buy Microsoft Office.
Its not hidden. It has to be installed seperately on your puter once Windows is up and running. If you are just trying to view PP presentation, you can use viewer which can be downloaded form net for free.
no. some computers don't have it. If it isn't there on the suface, then you don't have it on your computer.
dunno,m thanx 4 the 2 points.
