I have tried to reinstall, but all future appointments are still popping up.

Go to your view menu select toolbars select Advanced. In the current view drop down menu select active appointments. This will put all you appointments in a spread sheet type look like your in box. Highlight the top one scroll down hold the shift key down and highlight the last one and then just simply delete them all. This should do it.

I have done this before and I am thinking you can just go to each one and delete them by right-clicking. If it's a series of appointments, then I suggest opening the series and deleting it that way.
