When I open a Microsoft Office program it tries to open it with FrontPage. How do I get rid of this

This started happening about a month ago. It prompts me to insert the disk that contains Frontpage so it can find the needed files. I don't have this disk. I just want Word, Outlook and Excel to open like normal again without having to click ''Cancel'' regarding the FrontPage promt. What should I do?

You have to reinstall it again, but make sure when installing you select the option ''Run everything on computer'' and it should be ok.

Sounds like an installation file was accidentally deleted, or you didn't pay for a legal copy of Office.

I had this problem a while back and all I did was update my office programs at microsoft updates and use the custom update button.

That will help.
(Just wondering if you're trying to open an MSOffice document or the shortcuts of your MSOffice applications.)

In case you're trying to open an MSOffice document and Frontpage fires up then below could fix it.

If you're using XP, just right click the Office file you want to open, then choose OPEN WITH... %26gt;%26gt; CHOOSE PROGRAM...(at the bottom of the menu) %26gt;%26gt; Tick the box below which states ''Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'' Then open it with the correct MSOFFICE Application (with Excel, Word, Powerpoint).. (be sure to tick the box, otherwise, it will open on Frontpage again.)
